So Who Am I?

Let me briefly tell you my story. My name is Natalie Brown. An ordinary woman from a very ordinary background. I was brought up by a single mother who struggled to make ends meet whilst looking after 4 children. We lived on a poor council estate with very little money. My mother always tried hard to make sure we had food and clothes to wear, but as you can imagine, it was always basic food and basic clothes.

I grew up in poverty and didn’t have a great start in life but I went on to work in some of the big financial institutions in London. Have you ever had the feeling when you’re unhappy and you know the job you’re doing is not for you? Yes? Well, that’s how I felt.

I was so unhappy with work and life and, to cut a long story short, I eventually ended up very ill with anxiety, had a nervous breakdown and was unable to work. Now you can imagine how this had a huge impact on my life. Bills coming in and no money to pay them. These were very stressful times. Especially with a young daughter to look after!

Eventually I recovered and I got to a point in life where I knew I had to make radical changes.  Life is about living and being free to do what makes you happy. I went about slowly changing my life, a piece at a time, until I found myself living the life that previously I could only have dreamed of.

Now I own 8 houses. Seven in the UK and a luxury property in the exotic islands of Cape Verde. I go on holiday at least 3 times a year and get to follow my passion and dreams. Imagine the satisfaction of being able to make a difference to someone elses’ life as well. I have been able to buy my family and friends gifts, send them on cruises, help them go to university and help them to pursue their goals.

I have started my own business brand, the ID group. Encompassing media, fashion and education it includes my own TV talk show aimed at encouraging others to live their dream and go out there and pursue their passion. www.timewithnatalie.com

I have been able to fulfill my dream of appearing in a number of prime time BBC and ITV shows and be the presenter/host of a music show on Sky satellite.

I am the creator of events which are aimed at inspiring others and have been featured in Marie Claire and Oprah magazine when I took 17 women from the UK and South Africa to see Oprah Winfrey in Los Angeles.

One of the most important things that my freedom has allowed me to do is to be able to give back to the community. I’ve always been very passionate about giving back to help those in need and touch other people’s lives and I truly believe we were all put on this earth to have an impact. You can make a difference too.

I am passionate about helping others and work alongside a number of charities to raise and donate money. These include Breast Cancer and MIND and a number of organisations which help third world countries in need of clean water and help build schools and hospitals.
