Have you ever had a time in your life when you had a dream and even though you knew it was possible you still couldn’t figure out how it could come true for you? Yep, me to! Well, today is the day one of my dreams came true. I can now officially share with you that I am a new face for the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift campaign!!!! Revitalift is L’Oreal’s No.1 anti-ageing product and it is fantastic. I filmed the campaign in April and you will now see it on TV, online and in magazines.

L’Oreal is the world’s No.1 beauty company and to have the opportunity to be able to work with such an amazing brand is quite incredible. It’s funny because I started Time With Natalie on YouTube a few years ago, mainly doing interviews. Over the past 7-8 months I’ve felt led to change strategy to create more of a life/style channel. I’ve always loved fashion and beauty (what woman doesn’t!) but have never seen myself as a style guru or a beauty expert!

You’ve probably noticed that my content has been changing over the last few months to incorporate more of this (however I still want to do interviews) as I really want to inspire the ‘mature’ woman and I’ve been following some of the top fashion/beauty girls on YouTube to learn what they do and how they do it. These girls have anything from 400,000-1.5 million subscribers – incredible!!

I love their channels and have even had the opportunity to meet a few of them. I watch them travelling around the world, dressing in designer clothes, attending glitzy events and of course a part of me desires that lifestyle.

What I really wanted was to reach a bigger audience like they do and inspire more women. Yes I want to work with the biggest brands in the world – who wouldn’t? I want to encourage women to be more bold, brave and beautiful (the fact that you can hear me say that in the advert makes my heart sing) and let them know that all things are possible. Everything you want in this life is available to you if you just face your fear and believe in yourself.

I am living testimony of this after battling with anxiety and depression after having a nervous breakdown 16 years ago. Life has not been easy but I have a dream and a vision to create platforms that support women.

I am truly grateful to everyone at L’Oreal for choosing me and I just want to encourage you today and say that yes you need to face your fears and work hard but sometimes God just has a way of opening a door that seems impossible but has your name written on it because you are destined to achieve your dream and fulfil your vision.

We need to be more confident and keep striving towards our dreams – because as L’Oreal says ‘we are all worth it’!
